Personalized Dental CareAnchor

Cleanings and Prevention
At your first visit to the office, a comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist. At this and future exams, we will check your x-rays (usually taken once a year) for evidence of decay and gum disease. We will also do an oral exam to check for tooth decay, any signs of gum disease, screen for oral cancer, as well as check the condition of your existing restorations (crowns, fillings, etc.).
Your cleaning will be performed by one of our registered dental hygienists. They will remove plaque and calculus (tartar) from the teeth. This helps prevent gum disease. The hygienist will polish your teeth to remove any remaining stains and will also explain proper home care.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Modern, tooth-colored fillings offer a stronger and more attractive alternative to traditional metal fillings. Using a durable composite material, this is carefully matched to the color of your natural teeth. Tooth-colored fillings discretely conceal cavities while protecting and strengthening the damaged tooth.
Crowns
Crowns are restorations that cover the entire tooth and restore its function and shape. Crowns can be needed when the tooth cannot be restored with fillings due to extensive tooth loss due to decay or fracture. They are also often needed after root canal therapy. Crowns can be made of many materials, including gold and porcelain. Porcelain crowns look like existing teeth and can help maintain a beautiful smile.
Bridges
Bridges are a reliable and esthetic way to replace missing teeth. They are attached (cemented) permanently to the teeth on either side of the space left after the loss of one or more teeth. There are many options which your dentist will be happy to discuss with you.
AnchorCosmetic Bonding
Dental bonding is a relatively simple cosmetic dentistry procedure that can effectively correct a number of dental concerns including chips, stains, cracks, or unsightly gaps. During the dental bonding procedure, a layer of resin is carefully bonded to the surface of your teeth to improve their color and shape.
AnchorPorcelain Veneers
Veneers are thin, custom-made pieces of porcelain bonded onto the front of the teeth. We work closely with a dental laboratory to ensure proper shape and color to create a beautiful smile. Veneers can help correct or mask discolored, crooked, poorly shaped, or worn teeth. Veneers can also work very well at closing spaces.
Dental Implants
Implants can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or as a support for dentures or partials. The implant is a prosthetic (replacement) root, which is placed in the jaw bone. After healing and the implant is solid in the bone, a crown can be placed to restore your smile.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy is needed when the pulp of living tissue, which is often called the nerve, has died or is irreversibly affected by decay or trauma. At this point, just placing a filling will not resolve the resulting infection. The choice is between extraction (which can be expensive to replace or can cause problems for the remaining teeth) and saving the tooth with root canal therapy. Signs that a tooth may need a root canal can be pain for no reason, tenderness to touch, sensitivity to hot and cold (which does not go away quickly) and swelling. Sometimes there are no symptoms.
Dentures and Partial Dentures
Dentures and partials are made to replace missing teeth and support surrounding tissue. They can improve chewing and speech, as well as enhance your smile. With care, these appliances can last many years.

Teeth Whitening
Many common foods can discolor teeth over time, making your smile look less vibrant. Tooth-whitening options, both in-office and take home systems, are available. We can help you select the treatment that is best suited for you.
